Pip’s World
Privacy Policy
Effective September 2, 2026 · Pip's World is made by The Insanely Wicked
Pip's World writes personalized bedtime stories for children. Parents create and control the account; this page explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. The short version: we collect the minimum needed to make the stories, we never sell it, and you can delete all of it.
What we collect
- Your account: the email address and password (stored as a secure hash) a parent signs up with, and subscription status.
- About your child, entered by you: a first name or nickname, age, a few interests, and an optional appearance description (like hair color) chosen from preset options. We never ask for a child's photo, full name, birthdate, location, or contact details.
- The stories: the episodes, pictures and narration created for your family, saved to your account so they work on all your devices.
- Payments: handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store card numbers.
- Visits to this site: we use Google Analytics to count page views and see which pages actually help. It records the pages visited, an approximate location from the network (country or city, never an address), browser and device type, and a random visitor ID kept in a cookie. It is never joined to your account, and it never receives anything about your child.
- Advertising measurement: we run ads for Pip's World on TikTok. If you allow it, the TikTok pixel tells TikTok that a visit or a signup happened here, so those ads can be measured and shown to people likely to be interested. It receives the page visited, an approximate location from the network, browser and device type, and an identifier TikTok uses to match the visit to an ad it showed. It never receives anything about your child, and it is never joined to the details in your account. In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland nothing is sent unless you accept it; everywhere else it starts on arrival and the cookie notice has an opt-out.
How it's used
The details you enter about your child are used for exactly one thing: writing and illustrating your family's stories. To do that, they are sent to the AI services that generate the text, pictures and narration, under agreements that don't allow those providers to use the data for their own purposes. We don't use your child's information for advertising, we don't sell it, and we don't share it with anyone except the service providers needed to run the app (story generation, hosting and database, payments, and email).
Children
Pip's World is a tool for parents. Accounts may only be created by adults, and everything about a child in the app is entered and controlled by their parent or guardian. The app shows no ads, has no chat with strangers, and never contacts children. The advertising measurement described above is about adults browsing this website — nothing a child does in the app, and nothing you tell us about a child, is ever part of it.
Where it lives, and for how long
Stories and account data are stored with our database and storage provider (Supabase) with access restricted to your signed-in account. Your stories are kept for as long as you keep your account — that's the point of the product — and pictures are also cached on your own devices so bedtime works offline.
Your choices
- Delete a child: in the app, next to the child's name — this permanently removes their stories, pictures and details from every device and from our servers.
- Delete your whole account: email us at sales@theinsanelywicked.com and we'll remove everything within 30 days.
- Cancel billing: anytime, in the app under your plan.
- Choose what's measured: the cookie notice offers three answers — allow both, analytics only, or nothing at all — and your choice is remembered on that device. You can change it whenever you like: open cookie settings. In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland nothing is measured until you accept. Turning advertising off stops anything further being sent to TikTok, though it cannot recall what was sent before you changed your mind.
